Purpose of Audit

It is pertinent to inform here that these quality audits were necessary to conduct for UCP to appraise the preparedness level of all faculties and to maintain and improve the current system of process documentation. Its importance is also reinforced by the fact that HEC Review visit is due on January 11, 2018. The main objectives of audit are:

  • To ensure compliance with HEC and UCP requirements of MS/MPhil and PhD programs
  • To identify and report the problem areas
  • To rectify the anomalies and improve preparedness level for upcoming HEC visit
  • To come up with any change in process if required

QEC Audit of MS/MPhil and PhD Programs

Two rounds of horizontal quality audits and one internal audit has been conducted by QEC in the month of August 2017, September 2017 and December 2017 respectively. The first round was more holistic & generic in nature and entails the compliance of fundamental requirements while 2nd round of audit was much detailed in terms of conformity with each file and proforma. Two months have been given to all faculties to come up with the rectification so that 3rd round of internal audit can be run in December 2017 to check the final preparedness before HEC Review visit.
